Product Favorite…Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream

If you are feeling overwhelmed by the amount of natural hair products on the market I am here to tell you that you are not alone!  It seems as if every day a new hair product is released and I should know because my bathroom cabinet is filled with about half of them.  As a result product saturation can lead to confusion for new naturals or “veterans” as you try to figure out which products will actually work for your hair type and texture.  Often women ask me: “What’s the best products for natural hair?” Since that’s virtually impossible to answer, I always opt for speaking about the products that have worked for me from the beginning during my transitioning phase to now 7 years later.  One of those brands is Cantu.

My favorite product from Cantu is the Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream, which I reference frequently and use almost every time I twist my hair.  Although I have a complete arsenal of products, I always find myself coming back to the Cantu Shea Butter Coconut Curling Cream.  A ton of natural hair products are a hit or miss based on if you apply the product to dry or wet hair, but success prevails each time I use this cream.  Whether I’m flat twisting my hair after shampooing and conditioning or revamping an old dried out wash and go I’ll pretty much have the same results: moisturized, soft and shiny hair.  Nothing is better than that right?

Another great thing about Cantu is the prices for virtually all products of the brand are very affordable and are super accessible in a variety of stores.  I’ve seen Cantu in the aisles of Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc., and the list continues.  Other great products from the line include the Shea Butter Leave in Conditioning Cream and the Shea Butter Moisturizing Curl Activating Cream.  If you are looking for an inexpensive go-to product, Cantu is definitely the way to go! Are there other great inexpensive brands on the market? Of course, but once you find something that works, my advice is to stick with it!
